Project : The first Akiba Dori in the newly developed Design District D3 has been created and developed by Samer Hamadeh who is well known for his quirky and outside the box inventions in the field of F&B. Focus Hospitality Consulting has accompanied him since 2011 throughout several F&B ventures such as Republique, Stereo Arcade and many other successful creations. Akiba Dori has been designed by Parolio Design from Spain and offers Japanese street food inspired by Michelin Star chefs.

The venue is located on the ground floor of building 8 in D3 and covers over 450 sqm of various internal shops within the restaurant.

The scope of Focus Hospitality Consulting was to translate the design provided by Parolio into technical drawings ready for tender. Our Consultancy services covered the Kitchen, Interior Design and MEP Design. Focus provided further high-level Project Management services up to testing and commissioning and handover to the client.

In the meantime, Akiba Dori has evolved and a large demand for the concept has led to several new projects in KSA as well as the UAE. SO far Akiba Jeddah, Riyadh, Yas Bay Abu Dhabi, JBR and Dubai Hills Mall opened its doors to the public. Focus Hospitality Consulting is assisting Samer in every way, whether its design, consultancy or assistance in technical queries.
