EXPO 2020 DP World Pavilion

Client: Emirates Flight Catering (EKFC)

Concept: EKFC operates a wide range of restaurants and staff feeding establishments. In light of the EXPO 2020, many pavilion operators have requested EKFC to take on the catering element of their country pavilions at the EXPO 2020. Focus Hospitality Consulting has been appointed to design and tender as well as supervise the construction and installations of these kitchens.

DP World as one of the biggest Sea Port Operators in the World has its own Pavilion at the EXPO 2020. Focus Hospitality Consulting has been appointed to design all Back of House areas including a big production kitchen, staff dining facilities and several pantries over 4 levels. The design has been completed and is currently tendered. Focus Hospitality Consulting will be overseeing the construction and installation of all BOH areas up to handover to the operators.

The first Project was due to be completed in June 2020 and has now been postponed to 2021.
